Overview
Matthew is a 2nd year PhD student in the Becker laboratory for functional biomaterials. He is working on catalyst development for the polymerization of isotactic polyesters with functional end groups for applications in stereocomplexed hydrogels. He obtained his B.S in ACS-certfied chemistry with minors in physics and mathematics from Appalachian State University (2022).
