Meryl Alton Severson III

A strong desire to serve my country and others led me to join the military and become a physician. I separated with 12 years active service eight of which were spent at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center caring for our nation’s heroes, family members, and retirees. Compassionate, honest, evidence-based care of the whole patient with a commitment to quality is my top priority. It is important to me that you understand your condition as well as the risks and benefits of all the non-surgical and surgical treatment options available to you. As a well-informed patient, we will make a decision together about what is right for you and your unique situation. My goal is to help you improve your symptoms without surgery whenever possible.
