Overview

I am a poet, publisher, and researcher studying modern and contemporary poetics in the American hemisphere. My work approaches poetics in its capacity for diverse decolonizing practices while centering experimental literature, cultural theory, and the encounter between history and memory.

With the poets Dale Smith and Hoa Nguyen, I publish the Slow Poetry in American Newsletter. Along with Tessa Bolsover, I publish hand-bound poetry books through auric press.

I am currently the Graduate Coordinator for the Climate Change, Decolonization, and Global Blackness Lab, a stream of the Franklin Humanities Institute's Entanglement Project.
