Research Interests
Morgan is interested in how emotions, emotive words, and affective experiences are employed rhetorically in New Testament narratives to prescribe gendered expression. In particular, Morgan explores how the author of Luke-Acts persuades their readers, through emotions and trauma, to re-imagine gendered embodiment, discipleship, and faithfulness.
