Overview

About me- I grew up in Connecticut and went to UConn for undergrad (go Huskies!) where I studied molecular and cell biology before heading down the east coast for medical school at Duke. I absolutely loved my time in Durham and the quality of training I received at Duke, and luckily I was able to stay for another 4 years of residency! When I'm not at the hospital, I love staying active at the gym, biking on my peloton, or by practicing yoga! I also love sleeping in, brewing homemade lattes, watering my many, many plants, and jaunting around the Durham farmer's market on Saturday mornings.

Why I chose Duke- I had the privilege of training at Duke for medical school, which allowed me early exposure to the incredible OB/GYN department here. I truly believe that the people at Duke are one of kind, and as a result, our residency program is too! The emphasis on patient-centered care, supportive learning environment for trainees, and strong mentorship in the department are just a few examples of why I chose to train here. Additionally, I want to get the most out of my four years of residency, so exposure to the many available sub-specialties here is really exciting to me. We also serve a diverse patient population here in Durham, and Duke’s commitment to addressing maternal health disparities is something that I am passionate about and excited to be able to contribute to.
