Overview


Greg Pawlowski teaches first-year Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing, as well as an upper-level writing course focusing on legal writing in civil practice.  Prior to joining the Duke faculty, Pawlowski spent 13 years as an attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina’s Durham Office, where he practiced consumer law.  As part of his practice, Pawlowski represented and advised clients with respect to consumer protection matters, foreclosure defense, and bankruptcy.  He regularly co-counseled on his casework with the Duke Civil Justice Clinic, and he provided direct supervision to Clinic students in those matters.  He is a former chair of the consumer task force for legal services organizations in North Carolina.

Pawlowski received his B.S. from the University of Toledo in 2006, and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2009.  He is a member of the North Carolina bar, and he is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, as well as the Northern District of Ohio.
