Overview
I am a PhD candidate in the University Program in Genetics and Genomics (UPGG) at Duke University. I am in the Ochoa lab. My broad interest is in human evolutionary and population genetics. I am trained in using computational and quantitative tools in studying the effect of demographic history in human populations--particularly in selection and admixture. I love learning and putting what I learned under the light of evolution. Besides research, I aspire to be a science communicator and want to make science entertaining and welcoming to the general audience.
