Teaching Activities
- I work with, supervise and mentor medical students, Ob/Gyn residents and MFM fellows in both outpatient and inpatient settings including the prenatal clinic (which includes prenatal visits and consultations), the Fetal Diagnostic Center (performing prenatal diagnosis and procedures), and on Labor and Delivery and the Antepartum service.
- I also participate in a weekly conference which provides CME credit to providers and sonographers on prenatal diagnosis and fetal ultrasound.
- I have been developing an ultrasound/prenatal diagnosis curriculum for the Duke MFM Fellows which includes a monthly lecture series as well as some simulation exercises. In addition, I have participated in our fellow retreat twice yearly to discuss and help to improve and develop ongoing educational activities for the MFM Fellowship.
