Overview


Tiesha D. Douglas is a Lecturing Fellow of the Management Communication Center at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. She teaches leadership and business communication courses in the daytime MBA program and Masters of Management Studies (MMS) program. Her professional interests include effective communication, inclusive leadership, change management, and diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging (DEIB).

Tiesha is also a corporate communication coach and DEIB consultant. She is the founder and principal consultant of LEAD Culture Consulting, which assists organizations and leaders in their quest for DEIB and effective communication. Tiesha is also trained and certified in emotional intelligence and conflict mediation and resolution. 

She earned her masters degree in public policy & administration from Mississippi State University and her bachelors degree in business management & entrepreneurship from Western Kentucky University. In addition to teaching at Duke, Tiesha has held faculty positions at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington where she taught strategic business communication and served as the inaugural director of diversity and inclusion for the full-time MBA program.
