Overview
Timothy Peterson, MD is a Medical Instructor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine. Dr. Peterson graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Biology, and he received his MD from UT Health San Antonio School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Duke University and subsequently completed his Fellowship training in Emergency Ultrasound at Duke University. He teaches medical education with a focus on emergency ultrasound to a variety of learners from pre-medical students, to medical students and resident learners.
His areas of interest include medical education, research with a focus on emergency ultrasound utilization, and medical equipment QI projects.
