Dorris Parish Cardiology Award

University Duke University School of Medicine · 2012 Award for best medical student research thesis in the field of cardiology for the manuscript: ECG Quantification of Myocardial Scar and Risk Stratification in MADIT-II.

Clinical and Translational Science Award

University Duke University School of Medicine · 2010 Research scholarship for evaluating an ECG measure of myocardial scar to predict implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) efficacy in the large randomized controlled trial MADIT-II. This award also provided funding to enroll in courses in the Duke Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) and present research findings at the 2011 National Predoctoral Clinical Research Training Program Meeting in St. Louis, MO.
