The Navitrack® TotalKnee™ (Orthosoft, Montreal, Quebec, Canada) imageless application from ORTHOsoft allows the surgeon to determine mechanical and rotational axis of a patient's leg during total knee replacement surgery. The Navitrack TotalKnee imageless application does not require any CT images prior to surgery nor does it require any intra-operative fluoroscopy images. All required data is registered with the system intra-operatively. As with most systems available today, this system continues to evolve with regard to software applications, instrumentation and workstation design. © 2007 Springer Medizin Verlag Heidelberg.
