Space-time coded OFDM for high data-rate wireless communication over wideband channels

The space-time coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) scheme is described to provide high data-rate wireless communication over wideband channels. Simulation results for a 4-PSK 16 state space-time coded OFDM system are presented. The proposed scheme is capable of reliable transmission at relatively lower signal to noise ratio in variety of delay profiles, thus making it a robust alternative.
