An algorithm for the synthesis of immittances is briefly described. Given a driving point immittance function and specifying the number of nodes, the algorithm will generate all the networks fulfilling the specified function with the predetermined number of nodes. This algorithm has been implemented with MathematicaTM in a desktop workstation with excellent results. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of this algorithm, several examples are presented, with theoretical and simulation analysis.
