Familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR), Norrie disease, and other retinal diseases with a FEVR-like appearance are diseases of abnormal vascular development with peripheral retinal vascular nonperfusion as a predominant feature. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is useful to distinguish the macular impact of traction, fluid, and exudates and to monitor response to treatment.
