Effects of disturbing condition and pouring temperature in semisolid state on microstructure of magnesium alloy

The microstructure of magnesium alloy melt under different disturbed treatments in semisolid state was studied. The results show that blowing argon into refined and modified molten magnesium alloy in semisolid state can obtain non-dendritic structure, the formation of non-dendritic structure was owing to grain refinement and remelt of dendrite arm.
