This chapter reviews the indications, limitations, and interpretations of a lower extremity peripheral arterial physiologic testing. It discusses how to prepare the patient and perform the ultrasound. It also evaluates the clinical utility of a lower extremity arterial physiologic testing in the evaluation of peripheral arterial disease. Exercise ankle-brachial indices and toe-brachial indices are also discussed.
