This chapter reviews the indications, limitations, and interpretations of upper extremity arterial physiologic testing. It discusses how to prepare the patient and perform the ultrasound. It also addresses the clinical utility of the ultrasound in the evaluation of thoracic outlet syndrome, Raynaud's/vasoconstriction testing, and dialysis access steal syndrome.
