Meniere's Disease and Vestibular Migraine are both vestibular disorders that have the potential to cause episodic vertigo of variable duration. Both diagnoses are predominantly based on clinical assessment, with no known definitive tests to confirm or differentiate the two. Because the management of Meniere's disease and vestibular migraine differ significantly, improving the diagnosis of these disorders is critical to avoiding errors in management. Both disorders have distinct proposed pathophysiological mechanisms. However, multiple authors have reported overlap in Meniere's and vestibular migraine with some patients fulfilling rigid diagnostic criteria for both conditions.
