FBAR-based frequency divider oscillator for lock-in amplifier free atomic stabilization loop

We developed an injection-locking-type frequency-2-divider oscillator using a thin-film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) to achieve the ultrastabilization of frequency using the coherent population trapping (CPT) resonance of the 87Rb atom. When receiving the signal, which is the clock transition frequency of the 87Rb atom in the 6 GHz band, our oscillator could divide the frequency of the receiving signal into the 3 GHz band on the basis of the nonlinearity of the FBAR and return it as a modulation frequency for interrogation of the CPT resonance. It was also possible to obtain a frequency-3-division from around 10 GHz by rearranging the bonding wire to the FBAR.
