Testicular cancer is commonly found in young males and if suspected a scrotal ultrasound should be performed. When testicular cancer cannot be ruled out, an orchiectomy is performed. Depending on the histology, treatment post-orchiectomy varies. Treatment includes: RPLND, radiation, and chemotherapy. All treatments, as well as the primary malignancy, can reduced the fecundity, so pretreatment sperm cryopreservation is recommended.
