THE FINITE FOURIER TRANSFORM OF CLASSICAL POLYNOMIALS

The finite Fourier transform of a family of orthogonal polynomials is the usual transform of these polynomials extended byoutside their natural domain of orthogonality. Explicit expressions are given for the Legendre, Jacobi, Gegenbauer and Chebyshev families.
