Flutter of 2-dimensional panels on multiple simple supports running in spanwise direction and equally spaced in streamwise direction is investigated; exact solution is effected by method employed by J.M. Hedgepeth, J.C. Houbolt, and A.A.Movehan for one-bay (two supports) configuration; numerical results for 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-bay cases and infinite-bay case; comparisons of results with those of previous investigators which are formed somewhat inaccurate; it is found that bay number is not sensitive parameter in determination of flutter boundary unless large number of bays is in question.
