The angle resolved microwave spectrometer (ARMS) provides highly reproductible automated data acquisition of microwave refraction from positive and negative refracting samples. The flexibility of the instrument allows many types of metamaterial experiments to be carried out efficiently. The two-dimensional character of the measurement allows for easy and cost-effective sample preparation.
