-p charge-transfer cross sections at 205 GeV/c, and an apparent universality of the charge-transfer spectrum

We present inclusive cross sections (Q) for charge transfers between c.m. hemispheres in -p interactions at 205 GeV/c. Plotting (Q)inelastic for different reactions and energies against Q-Q appears to yield a universal symmetric function which would result in an asymptotic limiting value (Q=0)inelastic 12 for all hadronic reactions. © 1976 The American Physical Society.
