We describe the placement of a percutaneous transhepatic feeding tube in a patient with pancreatic carcinoma, who had developed delayed gastric emptying following gastrojejunostomy. The feeding tube was placed adjacent to a previously inserted biliary drainage catheter. For those patients who have undergone palliative percutaneous transhepatic internal biliary drainage, this method provides an alternative means for nutritional support, hydration, and administration of medication.
