Clinical perspective: Cardiac revascularization in a wide range of patients with coronary artery disease is the underlying mission of Duke University's Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Program, one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Under the program, a variety of established and new catheter-based techniques for treating coronary stenosis and for reestablishing and maintaining coronary perfusion are being investigated.
