Teaching Activities
I am currently serving as a Language Corridor Advisor in Duke's Department of German Studies, where I organize weekly German language practice sessions, film screenings, and cultural events in collaboration with undergraduate students. These activities aim to foster community engagement and support language learning in an immersive and collaborative environment.
Previously, I gained diverse teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Stuttgart, where I led a tutorial on academic writing, an introductory tutorial on Middle High German, and a discussion group on German-language literary history. Additionally, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I taught beginner and intermediate-level German courses, focusing on developing students' language proficiency and cultural understanding. My teaching experiences across different contexts have deepened my commitment to creating dynamic and student-centered learning environments.
