Competitive fellowship funded by the Annenberg Foundation to support Program II students pursuing interdisciplinary research that strengthens the Duke community. Selected for a project directly aligned with my self-designed Program II major, Neurological Development & Nutrition. As an AFIRE Fellow, I am responsible for conducting an approved research or fieldwork project; maintaining formal mentorship with faculty and community partners; presenting outcomes to the Program II community; and producing both an internal and public-facing dissemination product. The fellowship provides up to $5,000 to support research, internships, and global immersion projects that advance interdisciplinary scholarship.
