Research Interests
Xianzhi Lin’s RNA Biology Group is interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of cancer initiation and progression with the focus on dissecting how lncRNAs contribute to the hallmarks and enabling characteristics of cancer. The current projects include (1) Studying the functional roles and underlying molecular mechanisms of lncRNAs in aerobic glycolysis and drug resistance in ovarian cancer. (2) Developing RNA-centric methods to identify weak and/or transient lncRNA-interacting partners that are key to regulating lncRNA functions.
