Geometry Dependence of Quantum Point Contact Conductance - APS March Meeting · March 4, 2019 - March 8, 2019 National Scientific Meeting American Physical Society, Boston, MA

Contributed Talk on the search for 1-Dimensional Wigner-Crystal-like quantum states, presenting evidence that unusual experimental features are intrinsic, i.e. arise from device geometry, rather than from "extrinsic factors," such as disorder.

Service to Duke

China Undergraduate Exchange Students (Department) · January 1, 2019 Committee Service Duke University, Physics Department, Physics Building, Duke University

Interview prospective undergraduate exchange/transfer students from Chinese Universities: Shandong, Wuhan, Nanking, and Shanghai Jiaotong. The exchange students spend 1/2 to 1 year as a junior in the Duke Physics department. Provide guidance to the students. Occasionally, student from other departments are also interviewed.

Graduate Student Prelim and Ph.D. Committees (Department) · January 1, 2017 Committee Service Dept. of Physics, Duke University, Physics Department

Graduate students: Andrew Seredinski, Ling-Fei Zhao, Pei-Fan Liu
