Teaching Activities

I created and facilitate an elective clinical rotation, Pediatric Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), for Duke Children's Pediatric Residents. In this rotation, residents review fundamental POCUS exams (FAST, cardiac, lung, soft tissue, etc), consider the evidence for use of POCUS in children, and practice performing these exams in the Pediatric ED.

I am also an author/contributor for multiple online courses that include teaching on Pediatric POCUS, including the American Academy of Pediatrics "PEM Landscape Course,"  as well as the World Interactive Network Focused on Critical Ultrasound (WINFOCUS) Online Academy "PedPOCUS eCourse."
