Top 50 at Fifty Alumni Award
University
Auburn University Montgomery, Montgomery, Alabama
· May 5, 2017
Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) was established on September 8, 1967 by Act 403 of the Alabama Legislature. In recognition of the fiftieth anniversary of this momentous occasion, Auburn Montgomery recognized its Top 50 alumni during its first fifty years at a special ceremony on May 5, 2017. Dr. Carl A. Stockton, Chancellor, commented that “each honoree has truly earned this distinction.”
The Top 50 alumni were chosen by a committee of AUM administrators, faculty and staff by having distinguished themselves in their personal as well as professional life and because of their interest in and involvement with AUM. The Top 50 at Fifty includes educators, business people, public servants, military leaders and artists among the multitude of vital careers prepared for at Auburn Montgomery. These exceptional men and women who have passed through Auburn Montgomery’s doors have both contributed to and amplified the university’s success. As Auburn Montgomery alumni, these honorees have demonstrated the values and ideals that make AUM such an outstanding university.
Auburn Montgomery is proud to have these alums representing the university as its Top 50 at Fifty.
