Current Research Interests

Daniel is a first-year PhD student mentored by Dr. Kevin LaBar.  He is primarily interested in the nature and neural basis of affective valence, and in the relationship between affect and value-based learning and decision-making. 

Before coming to Duke, Daniel worked as a research coordinator at UNC-Chapel Hill. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from New College of Florida in 2019.
