Research Interests


Daniel is a fourth-year PhD student in the Psychology & Neuroscience department, mentored by Dr. Kevin Labar and Dr. Greg Samanez-Larkin. His research investigates interactions between affect, reinforcement learning, and value-based decision-making. 

Before coming to Duke, Daniel worked as a research coordinator in the Developmental Personality Neuroscience lab at UNC-Chapel Hill. He earned a B.A. in Psychology from New College of Florida in 2019.
