Research Interests
My laboratory at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore is focused on signal transduction, with an emphasis on both Wnt signaling and circadian rhythms. In the Wnt field, we study how Wnts are delivered from producing to sending cells. Exploiting a small molecule inhibitor of Wnt secretion co-developed in Singapore, we have uncovered Wnt-activated and Wnt-repressed pathways that function to maintain stem cells and drive cancer.
