Advisory Board - Duke University Middle Grades · 2014 Community Development NSF capacity-building grant (funded in summer 2014) designed to explore the institutionalization of a middle-grades MAT strand for STEM subjects. Other board members include the Superintendent of Durham Public Schools as well as some school Principals and teachers, along with a few Arts~\& Sciences faculty and Program in Education PIs.
Advisory Board - Duke University Noyce Program · 2013 Community Development The program recruits and prepares highly successful STEM graduates to become highly effective middle school science and math teachers. Run by Duke University Program in Education in collaboration with Durham Public Schools and the STEM departments in Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.
