Leadership & Clinical Positions at Duke

I directed the International Comparative Studies program for 9 years (2002-2011), which was a great joy. I regularly teach in the Focus program.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a professor; I have worked with Duke Hospice as an LCSW and continue to do some work with Duke Hospice Bereavement Services and to facilitate community and individual conversations on topics related to living into aging and mortality with grace, knowledge, and insight.
