Academic & Administrative Activities

As program director of the Duke PA Program, I am responsible for the overall organization, administration, fiscal management, continuous review and analysis, planning, and development of the Duke PA Program. The program has 180 students and nearly 40 faculty and staff.  Activities:
  • Supervise faculty and staff in the day-to-day operation of the PA Program.
  • Oversee budgetary matters related to the PA Program.
  • Oversee maintenance of administrative files regarding budgets, curriculum, accreditation, students, faculty, and other program-related activities.
  • Provide oversight of curriculum design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Ensure a process of continuous review and analysis in compliance with ARC-PA Standards.
  • Serve on various committees at the program, department, school of medicine, and university level. 
  • Implement and provide oversight of program policies to ensure they are consistent with federal, state, and local statutes,  and accreditation standards.
