Trusted Computing, its definition and history with the Trusted Computing Group, beginning with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), as a root of trust in the early 2000's. TPMs are now in 100's of millions of devices around the world. I will discuss how Trusted Computing can be used to protect data, software,
networks, and identities, but also significant security vs. privacy and user control concerns that can happen if it is misused.

Effective two-way communication is critical to building a positive culture in any organization, and the responsibility
for ensuring effective two-way communication is shared among every member of the community. The
Communication Response Team is charged with
Assessing the current ways that the Pratt School of Engineering and its departments communicate with
faculty, staff and students;
Determining best practices for internal communication;
Identifying gaps in our current communication practices that may lead to ineffective two-way
communication; and
Developing recommendations for new communications practices that might improve the effectiveness with
which we communicate with each other.
In addressing these issues, the Communication Response Team should consider the appropriate use of technology in
our internal communication, the various types of communication preferred by the different generations in our
audience, and the most appropriate method to deliver different types of messages.
Mission: to research and make recommendations regarding any future Pratt academic international initiatives
