2023 Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health Early Career Investigator Award Competition – Finalist

National American Heart Association · 2023 Katherine Collins has been recognized as a finalist in the Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health Early Career Investigator Award Competition by the American Heart Association’s Council on Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health. Katherine received the award at the organization’s 2023 Scientific Sessions following the presentation of his/her proposal, “Barriers And Predictors Of Physical Activity Maintenance: The STRRIDE I Reunion Cohort.” The Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health Early Career Investigator Award recognizes early career investigator and trainee council members for their achievements and their continuing research. The award is sponsored by the AHA's Council on Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Health whose focus is on nutrition, physical activity, obesity, diabetes, lipids, and the behaviors related to these conditions and how they contribute to the development of cardiovascular diseases. 2022 Paper of the Year

Other Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine · 2022 The ACSM Publications Committee established an annual Paper of the Year award in 2020 for each of ACSM’s journals to recognize the demonstrated excellence in scientific and scholarly publications. The Paper of the Year is selected by each journal’s editorial board based on the criteria of significance and impact of the article. ACSM extends congratulations to each of the author groups.
