Research Interests
Simulation- Based Multidisciplinary Education: My interests are primarily focused on how to better utilize simulation based modalities to increase by technical expertise in procedural competences among provides in the neonatal ICU and improving and standardizing resuscitation approaches among a broad spectrum of learners. The aim being to establish evidence based strategies and curricula that may improve outcomes for our extremely fragile patient population.
Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS) ultrasound is also a growing area in critical care spaces, my interest here overlaps with my interests in simulation-based training. The aim of my works is to integrate POCUS into clinical practice and use these experiences as a means to establish best practice for providing quality care and increasing collaboration across different specialties who utilise this evolving tool.
