Academic & Administrative Activities
A portion of my non-clinical time is dedicated to the development of the pediatric leukemia program at Duke, which aims to provide patient-specific care for our patients with hematologic malignancies including lymphoid, myeloid and myeloproliferative diseases.
Clinical Activities
In the inpatient and ambulatory setting, I care for pediatric patients with childhood cancers including leukemia, lymphoma and myelodysplastic disorders, as well as patients with benign hematologic conditions including acquired and inherited anemias, thalassemias, and bleeding disorders. I also care for patients with vascular malformation in collaboration with pediatric dermatology and interventional radiology colleagues.
