I am interested in research related to pediatric thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer and am working with a team at Duke to apply a deep learning algorithm to ultrasound images of pediatric thyroid nodules. 

I have also been involved with gastrointestinal hormone research, particularly the hormone ghrelin.
