I write and present about issues of graduate education reform, especially best practices in advising, coaching, and mentoring of doctoral students. Formerly a tenured professor of English and scholar of Victorian women's writing, I am now committed to supporting the academic and professional growth of PhD students and early-stage faculty, both as a program director and an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
