Teaching Activities
2015 - Served as co-facilitator for Duke Faculty training in Motivational Interviewing which was funded by an educational grant from Duke AHEAD. Over the course of a year, assisted with the creation and delivery of a coordinated, hands-on approach to teaching 33 faculty members from across the Duke Health System.
November 2014-January 2018. Served as facilitator a 2-hour Motivational Interviewing Introductory session for medical trainees on a monthly basis.
October 2018 - present. Coordinate and teach the Pediatric unit at the Duke Physician Assistant Program. Serve as small group facilitator for several academic offerings in various courses across the curriculum.
November 2022: REACH trainer (REsource for Advancing Children's Mental Health): a nationally recognized program which provides primary care providers with up-to-date, evidenced-based training in the diagnosis and treatment of children’s mental health conditions
