Overview


My work has been focused on the hemolytic anemias and other hematocytopenias with particular emphasis on diseases due to immunological reactions (paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, autoimmune thrombocytopenia, etc) and those due to abnormalities of hemoglobin (sickle cell disease, in particular).
