Panax ginseng is known for its medicinal effects and features and it can be found in different forms. We report three cases of spontaneous nontraumatic recurrent subdural hematoma in postmenopausal women who were throughout the case on a highly concentrated standardized "Panax ginseng extract" supplement. Three cases of postmenopausal women had spontaneous non-traumatic recurrent subdural hematoma. A burr hole evacuation was performed for them; however, they were admitted for recurrence. The main reason of the cause is not solely the associated main risk factors but to the perioperative ingestion of panax ginseng. The authors recommend that Panax ginseng should be used under medical control.
