Low-cost, highly-adaptable, retrofitted laser scanning module for real-time reflectance and confocal fluorescence microscopy

We present a low-cost, high-speed, retrofitted laser scanning module for microscopy. This fiber-coupled source, cage-mounted system offers a real-time imaging alternative to costly commercial systems and can be easily adapted for confocal and fluorescence applications.
