Comparison between homogeneous and Two-layer model for spectroscopic measurement of fetal cerebral blood oxygenation in-utero

In order to measure the fetal cerebral oxygenation in utero, a numerical two-layer model data is generated using finite difference method in diffusion regime. The detectibility of photons through the fetal head is estimated and optical properties obtained by inversion is compared to homogeneous model fit.
